Easter Fun at our Music and Arts Course

We’ve had a busy and fun Easter holidays here, with both piano students and other local children taking part in our Easter Music and Arts Course.

We’re so lucky to have some amazing professionals locally, with three fantastic businesses coming to deliver workshops for us this week.

Day 1: Yoga, Movement and Mindfulness

Day 1 kicked off with Sarah from Rebel Heart Movement, who delivered the most wonderfully creative Easter-themed workshop, really giving participants an insight into how their bodies can move, and how to use their bodies to get rid of worry, anger and other unwanted emotions. The workshop ended with some parachute games, which were a big hit!

Day 2: Musical Theatre

Cait Davies of Theatre Workshop Monmouthshire came along to delight the children with a high-energy Musical Theatre Workshop, engaging everyone in some giggle-inducing drama games before teaching them all a song with actions. The children left on a high after giving a performance of their finished song.

Day 3: African Drumming

Our course finished with a bang thanks to Mike from UPBEAT! who came to teach a full class of almost 20 children the basics of African Drumming. This Workshop was fast-paced and so much fun!
