I collect each child from their classroom and return them afterwards, working closely with school staff to ensure lessons fit around the school day as smoothly as possible.

Lesson times rotate each week so that children don’t repeatedly miss the same lesson, activity or class, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of school life alongside their music tuition.

Children can choose either:

• 20-minute individual piano lessons

• 30-minute individual piano lessons

Every lesson is taught in a relaxed, encouraging and friendly environment where children feel comfortable learning at their own pace.

• At Crickhowell High School, where I continue teaching students from Year 7 right through to Sixth Form.

Building these long-term relationships means I have the privilege of watching children grow from nervous beginners into confident young musicians.
