Why Summer Piano Lessons Are One of the Best Investments You Can Make

When the school summer holidays arrive, it’s tempting to take a complete break from routines—and after a busy school year, everyone deserves some time to relax!

However, when it comes to learning the piano, six weeks is actually quite a long time. Children who don’t play at all over the holidays often return in September feeling less confident, having forgotten some of the skills they worked so hard to develop during the year.

The good news is that it doesn’t take hours of practice to keep making progress.

Why Continue Lessons Over the Summer?

One of the biggest benefits of summer lessons is that children have more time to enjoy learning without the pressures of homework, exams and busy after-school schedules.

Many students actually make their biggest leaps forward during the holidays because they arrive at lessons feeling relaxed and ready to learn.

Summer lessons are also a wonderful opportunity to:

  • Learn exciting new pieces

  • Explore music outside the exam syllabus

  • Build confidence at the piano

  • Improve technique

  • Keep fingers strong and flexible

  • Prevent losing progress over the long break

Rather than spending September revisiting old work, students who continue lessons can start the new school year feeling confident and ready for their next challenge.

Learning Should Be Fun

At Hannah’s Piano Tuition, I believe holidays should still feel like holidays.

That’s why our summer lessons are designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and motivating. Alongside learning new music, students can enjoy games, creative musical activities and opportunities to work towards their 88 Club achievements.

Members of The 88 Club will even be able to start earning their exclusive achievement pins throughout the summer, making every lesson even more exciting.

A Flexible Summer Package

To make summer learning easy for busy families, I’m offering discounted summer lesson packages throughout the school holidays.

Lessons are available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the six-week summer break, allowing families to choose times that fit around holidays and other commitments.

Places are already filling quickly, so if you’d like to secure your preferred times, I’d recommend booking soon.
