The Family Fun Day is nearly here!

Our Summer Family Fun Day at Clydach Village Hall

One of the most exciting events in our studio calendar is nearly here — our Summer Family Fun Day at Clydach Village Hall!

This year’s event will take place on Sunday 14th June and is shaping up to be such a special day for our students and families.

At our piano studio near Gilwern and Brynmawr, community is a huge part of what we do, and this event is all about bringing everyone together to celebrate music, creativity, friendship, and fun.

Student Pian Playing in a Relaxed Environment

Students will have the opportunity to play piano pieces to family and friends if they would like to in Hannah’s Piano Tuition studio.

Family and friends can gather in the piano studio to listen to students play!

Events like this help children gradually build confidence in a positive and welcoming environment.

A Day Full of Family Fun

Alongside student performances, we have so many exciting activities planned throughout the day.

This year’s Family Fun Day will include:

* a big bouncy castle

* giant Twister

* giant Operation

* Beat the Buzzer challenges

* family tug of war

* a photo booth

* games and activities from The Expressive Arts Studio South Wales

* an ice cream van

We are also so excited to welcome Animals Interactive, who will be bringing a wonderful selection of animals for children to meet and hold.

Animals expected to visit include:

* meerkats

* a skunk

* a giant snake

* a tortoise

* rabbits

* a baby owl

* a lizard

* … and more!

We know the children are especially excited about this part of the day.

A Celebration of Community

One of the things I love most about our studio is the supportive community that develops between students and families.

Music lessons often begin with learning piano, but over time they become something much bigger:

* friendships

* confidence

* shared experiences

* encouragement

* creativity

* belonging

Our Family Fun Day is a lovely chance for everyone to come together outside of normal lessons and simply enjoy spending time together.

Special Visitors from Expressive Arts Studio South Wales

We are also delighted that Expressive Arts Studio South Wales will be joining us with additional games and creative activities for children throughout the event.

There truly will be something for everyone to enjoy.
